By-Elections Announced in NSW and SA
By-elections have been announced for the Divisions of Lyne (NSW) and Mayo (SA). Polling day will be on Saturday, 6 September 2008. A travel bulletin informing electors overseas of these elections and available voting options has been posted on the smartraveller website.
Postal voting services will be available through the Australian Electoral Commission in Australia for Australians overseas who are eligible to vote in these by-elections. Postal vote applications (PVA's) will be available from the AEC's website.
